These data below contain lists of genes uniquely expressed (fingerprint) for each T-cell type as well as subsets (naïve, activated, CD4, and CD8). T-cell fingerprints were determined using only data from the 4 T-cell types, thus these fingerprint genes may be expressed in other non T-cell lineages. A fingerprint gene is defined having a normalized (Log2) expression level >5 for a given group and <4 for all other cell types. The affymetrix probe, gene name, gene symbol, and the normalized expression value for each gene is shown in the tables.

A pairwise comparison was performed to determine what genes are up/downregulated in T Naïve cells compared to T Activated cells. Both CD4 and CD8 replicate arrays were used in the comparison. Gene list cutoffs were set at a p-value of 0.05 and a fold change of 2 (1 in log2).
